Hit up a barn sale yesterday on my way home from the dump. There were some remains of an estate lot from someone who worked on radios. I was running late for a date with my wife and I didn’t have time to really inspect everything, so I made a quick pile and crossed my fingers there would be something cool. Paid 35 dollars.
Lots of stuff I’ll probably never use, but there are a few winners in there.
Some highlights:
Lots of stuff I’ll probably never use, but there are a few winners in there.
Some highlights:
- 130 - 2n4401s - looks useful
- 50 - 2n 4402s
- 12 - metal can op amps marked “sd709c” I didn’t find an exact match data sheet, But if it’s equivalent to an LM709 it’d be a good Ratter I think
- 30 - mu10 UJTs - maybe some kinda tremolo thing?
- Exactly one jack, and it’s a switched, enclosed, TRS jack which I needed to finish a build.
- Couple sweet big knobs
- Some cool vintage/ non standard LEDs and bezels
- Buncha sockets
- A large box containing a tangled mess of old resistors. Do these have mojo? I don’t know.
- Some random and likely bad tubes
- A cool analog meter, and an old capacitance tester
- Lots of big capacitors and power transistors
- A big mess of heat sinks
- Lots of random switches and hardware
