I really enjoyed following this contest and your examples as well as all the others. Had a couple of ideas but holidays/new job/shoddy old breadboards ate up time.
Would be really cool if this was recurring, overlapping the holidays. It's a great challenge to push builders(and apparently Chuck) to try new things. Thanks for curating it and participating to all involved!

@steviejr92 , would you consider editing and linking the posts of these circuits or reposting if images linked are external, for Internet posterity?

The more I looked at all these circuits the more I thought it was going to be tough for a judge to choose.
I feel like I won something just having entered and having great conversation with Chuck D. Bones!

The Judges would like to take this opportunity to share some constructive criticism.

The first item we'd like to address is the schematics. Schematics should be neat and easy to follow. Post #206 is an example of a good schematic. Parts have ref designators. ICs have pin numbers. It is very clear what connects to what. Some circuits require tweaking to get the bias right. Anything with a JFET or Ge transistor should have critical voltages noted on the schematic. Any notes on how to adjust the bias should appear in the notes on the schematic. We did not grade anyone on neatness this time around. Next time might be different. A photo of a hand-drawn schematic is perfectly acceptable provided it contains the information listed above.

We liked the tone of the HP!2K Redux. It was a clever twist on the Harmonic Percolator. The unstable bias was a major weakness and kept it out of the winner's circle. Still, a nice effort. I'll be posting a couple of mods on that in The Boneyard.

We considered uniqueness and creativity when selecting a winner and some of the entries were too close to a production pedal to make the cut. I think you know which ones we're talking about.

Anyway, this was a lotta fun and we'll do it again soon!
