let's see your pedalboard!

My large board is fully torn apart. I’ve been experimenting and keeping a lot of it loose and unfastened. But the core of my sound has been generally:

POG -> wavefolding dist. -> octave up -> dist -> el84 amp

Sad indeed:

But! I made the mini board recently.

Closed Circuit -> Octarock -> Hyped Fuzz -> VibroBot

Giant pedal boards are impressive and all, and I get have all your gear wired up and ready to go, but I think in the same breath mini boards are under rated, ( not mini pedals those suck.🤣.

I dug it out of my aunts barn I’ve been helping clean out. It doesn’t make much reverb - it’s really a bbd slap back delay, but if you crank the input it does a pretty sweet fuzz sound. No bypass switch is kind of a deal breaker though.
Yup that’s definitely the same one I had.. I hated it🤣

I don’t think I’m doing it right.
The AC powered chorus is pretty rad. That power cable looks long.

Yes- I love the limitation of having to select what makes the cut, as opposed to figuring out what to fill all the space with. But then I can see myself making lots of mini boards, all connected and set in a much larger meta board 😯

The current state of things. This is in the middle of a rearrangement/cabling upgrade process, stuff like the duo phase being sideways 'cause it's waiting for me to make longer cables. Here's as quick a rundown as I can do.

I usually play both bass guitar and upright so starting at the top right is my 2 instrument switcher/ leveler with a thumbsucker on the 2nd input and a currently unused fx loop > Soysauce > Dizzy Elk > EHX H.O.G. (underside) > Phat Phuck B > Arcadiator > Green Muff/Dark Meathead with GCI parallel/series switch and Moonn Octomix > pink envelope combo (Junk Trunk, Gas Tank, and Zipper) > Sonic Reducer and Chuck D Bones bass klon > Cordyceps > VIIB > VFE Minimu > Low Tide > Duophase > Filterfx > Rubberneck > Drebbel/ Frequency Interchange combo > Nobelium pre

I'm very happy with this rig.

I've got an unusual number of drive pedals on my board as I try to sort out exactly what I like but I'm paralyzed by choice.

Tuner - antithesis fuzz (love this thing) - rangemaster - Julia - tso - pipe stretcher/Timmy - opa101 (?) - expandora (w/ chuck bones' voice mod thing + led/si clipping) - Lightspeed/zen drive - timeline - hydra delay - whatever the eqd vibrato is - reverb (the 3 knob eqd one). Most art doodled with posca pens based on prompts from my 3 year old.

This is my in-progress lunar lander set up. My attic studio rehab won’t likely be done until next spring so I’ve had to make due with the space I have.

At the top is a Boogie Mk V 35 that runs into a Suhr Reactive Load and then into the top pedal board.

The top pedal board is pretty much done except I want to try the Zuul Plus in the effect loop of the Mark V. Everything is wired for stereo from the output of the OX Stomp. The board ends at the Mercury X and goes into a Babyface Pro that is setup to go straight through (no ad-da conversion) to a set of Focal Shapes w/ Sub One studio monitors (or LCD-X headphones).

The middle pedal board … lol. I just started taking meds again for my ADHD so I’m hoping I’ll finally get it in a good place. This the main guitar focused board that runs in the Mark V.

The bottom board is my bass board. This one needs to be redone too haha. But it’s setup to split my bass signal to go the guitar board too. The output of the bass board goes to a mono input on the Babyface Pro.

Maybe this is insane but I’ve been thinking of building a SLO head and then buying another reactive load and OX Stomp for a super stereo rig?!! No kink shaming please.
