CONTEST HAPPY HOLIDAY RAFFLE!!

CONTEST
I agree the shipping would be brutal so in any case I would recuse myself from this raffle, but IMO in general it's acceptable to go "overseas people can take part if they're willing to pay the shipping costs" or something like that even if it's free for people on the same continent. I think it's a good compromise, if someone overseas really wants in they can take part.

But that's just my opinion, it's obviously extra hassle and if someone wins and flakes it can be annoying, so it's the rafflers choice.

Edit: FWIW if anyone is looking for ideas, you could probably fit multiple jacks in the back of that easily, so maybe something like that, with expression jacks or an extra FX loop or something.
That is a great idea! I actually thought about doing this but since it’s a raffle I didn’t want to have to ask people to chip in just to be able to accept their winnings lol

Regardless it would be a massive help on me. I’ll change it to overseas contestants as well but they must pay for shipping!

I saw the thread and had to post post haste; so many have already beat me to the post. The postal strike here is almost over, thought I should post that in case I get lucky and get something in the post and have to collect it at the post office. If I don't win, the post-partum depression will be alleviated by the plans being posted and I can then try my hand at being a newb enclosure-creator. Dumb as a post I'm not, but nor am I skilled with metal-work so I'm glad the original poster kindly posted those plans. I wonder what circuit I'll post I mean put in mine? Anyway, not exactly a poster-child but sometimes I just feel like I'm ...

Time to hit Post reply.

I had that thought too. It's almost 9 inches wide by 6 inches tall. But the 16x16 LED oscilloscope bit would be so rad on the face.
Yeah with those dimensions it certainly won’t fit in there 🤣 it’s much more compact than that! The enclosure can fit 2 standard 125b circuit side by side and not much more but if you utilize the back wall than you can certainly fit more!

The "Flat Top" PDF has an example drill template that puts the size in context for anyone wondering about size.

Looks perfect for a 2 in one 125b build.

Or maybe a mini theremin...

It does remind me of teenage years when toying with my friend's Korg MS-20.

Real deal, none of this "mini" nonsense.

Alas, he no longer has it. He was a wheeler-dealer through-and-through, and had so much cool stuff come-and-go...

SO, on that flat-note... maybe for this forthright upright CWA enclosure contest pairing: a potential rehousing for one of Korg's mini DIY synth type dealios, such as the...

Perhaps something from the Volca series?

Alas, I think the Volcas are too big, if the PPCB Synchro series "just fits".

Zeppelin Labs AND the like (stylus mini-synths) ...

Really, though, so far I like Erik S's THEREMIN-idea best!
Maybe this MIDI one:
