Quick and fun build. I really love how this pedal sounds; high gain but full bodied. I play music in the vain of Brand New and Thrice, and I was super impressed with this pedal.
The only modification I made is switching out the Cut pot (A100K) with a linear pot (B100K). I think it gave me more control over the Cut knob. Also, I ordered the actual knobs from 1981 Inventions that are used for the DRV, and I was shocked to find the knobs were just plastic. In fact, these authentic 1981 DRV knobs cost more than the actual materials for the pedal! If anyone wants a more robust knob that has the same aesthetic, I recommend the Silver Aluminum Knob - "The Hi-Fi" - 1/4" Smooth Shaft (20mm OD) from Love My Switches.
