Hell ya. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the video at first but I am glad I watched all of it. The dude seems to know everyone. He has posted interviews with Sacha Dunable and does it doom steve since that first video. Also a live video of Yob in a church. Seems like his channel is off to a pretty cool start. I didn't watch the does it doom interview but I enjoyed the Sacha Dunable one. I've always loved seeing Intronaut live.

As a dude who has been a doomer all my life, the youtube comment that says "As much as I love doom metal, I can't help but find our obsession with highly custom expensive gear a bit funny, since most of it ends up sounding kinda the same" is pretty damn hilarious.

I do appreciate the dudes commitment to it, though. Gotta respect it. Some of the names he mentions have owned stuff I made and are people I associate with, but it's not about that to me. Not a diss at all, just a different lane going to the same place.

i use a 200 dollar kustom defender head thru a peavey 2x15 and it still sounds basically like most doom bands

The thing that stuck with me was his comment about the Science Earthling being better than any Matamp he’s played (he has all the matamps). I will probably never buy a brand new amp in my life (or brand new car) but I would be interested to see what’s different in the Science Earthling so I could one day build something like a Matamp/Earthling.
