BOO!! - 0,5mm off... Used the dremel drill press and started with 1mm holes, then 3mm. It wasn't too easy to find, but I got a step bit which starts at 3mm, so I can make this tool work on my window desk.
HURRAY!! Stepped them all 1mm larger and with some filing and manual step bit pushing and turning I made it look perfect.
Eyeballed these suckers succesfully. They're 1,7mm apart from wherever you measure (between them, top bottem, sides). Such a strange perfect condition, as if they were made to fit this.
Desoldering is exciting.
With only 1mm to spare! Going to have to drill some standoffs in the side to mount the power module. And then figure out something to keep the main board from not hanging from the mini jacks at the lower part, as I removed the top ones which held it nicely horizontal. Didn't think of this beforehand.
Guess all the rest is going to be easy peasy!
