Redoing the finish on some pedals that didn't come out as well as I'd hoped

I haven't posted in a while. I've been bouncing between finishing these guitars:
I may or may not have gotten tenure/promotion at the university I work at. If yes, they're a congratulatory gift to myself. If not they're a means to ease the grief of rejection. I wired the JM up with a parallel/series switch and a treble/bass circuit where the rhythm controls should go. So flexible in comparison to the stock volume/tone pot configuration. The V is just P90s instead of humbuckers, a pickguard I cut by hand (not recommended), and black korina with an amber stain.
Other than that I've been finishing up recording/mixing a few projects, getting my mountainbike in a condition where it won't fail the second I ride it down a rock face, and rebuilding some trails in the woods.

I got it for $300 because "one of the little light bulbs wasn't working." Still one of my luckiest finds on a buy/sell site. Old Traynors sound incredible.
