Sproing Deluxe Distorting on Tremolo Side

Hey all, I finished up the Sproing Deluxe a bit ago but the tremolo side is distorting at the peak of every throb - clearly something is clipping in the audio circuit, not exactly sure what or how though? I assume it's gotta be the IC after the LDR (assuming this is the Moonshot trem, correct?), I should be able to decrease the feedback resistor to the IC before it. Spitballing here but want to make sure I'm on the right track before I start hacking away. Thanks!

See if you can bend your LDR away from the LED a little.

I had used an NSL-32, I just swapped it out for an LDR and red LED and it's definitely behaving better!
