Last year I put in an order for one of the ES 335 Epiphones inspired by Gibson, long story short they were backordered forever, So, seeing the DG 335 Epiphone had the same American electronics I asked if I could get it for a price match, and I did wonderful guitar. I got mine at $1,099 from $1,299, a few months ago they dropped to $999, now I hear Zzsounds is clearing them out at $799.00, if you're looking for a hollowbody it's a steal. Same electronics as the Gibby version and fit in finish on mine was perfect, it even has binding in the diamond cutouts that the Gibby's don't!

I actually have a buddy whose son gifted him the $8,000.00 Gibson in Pelham Blue, and at a gathering he played mine and looked it over and was blown away by how close it was to his, he's the one that pointed out the binding in the diamonds that his doesn't have.
