Confirmed…Proco stamped on enclosure. Came in a Rat box just like every other. I’m gonna go with this batch was most likely stolen cause if it looks like at , sounds like a I still really don’t care.

Well I’m pretty positive it’s an original new Rat. Weighs 5 lbs with the OP07CP ic. Only thing that looks suspect to me are the new feet but it’s been a while since I’ve worked on a Rat. Chuck maybe yours is fake? Not bad for $45 shipped.Curious to see what mods you do Dave.

Front prints look misaligned... the line is parallel to my screen but not the enclosure.

@swelchy That links priceless! I do have a fake Rat. Maybe I should build or buy a real and post an a/b test. Btw-I just wanted to use the emoji earlier. I’m just having fun with this it’s was only $45.

Sounds just like a Rat to me. From what I remember atleast. Loose low end, and brash but nice harmonic overdrive/distortion with descent mid content. I just need a little more distortion and control of the low and mids. Need some thump. Example would be Tools Adam Jones. Of course I wasn’t looking for that with the Rat lol. Just bought it cause of the price. It’s going to the home of a young new player now.
