In search of Stereo Reverbs and Delays to fill 2 Binaura EEPROMS.

This one is great! Feels very useful as well. You can almost get a rotary delay effect with it at higher speeds! Mark this one done.
Cool beans! Here's D06 . . .
Stereo-wise, this one seems a bit weak to me. But that just might be the fact that the two Reverse Delay blocks have a fixed delay rate and can't be changed. Maybe in SpinASM, but that's over my head for now. You may want to temporarily add the "2:2 (x2) Mixer" to hear how it sounds with a dry signal.

D06 Stereo Reverse Delay.spcdj
EDIT: CODE REMOVED DUE TO BAD FORMATTING OR SOMETHING. Reposted below in post #89.

@BrainGutz - I finished the initial candidates for D07 & D08 then converted them SpinASM, burned to EEPROM and audited them thru a real Binaura I'd built. Some of them are going to need tweaking to deal with a glitchy Pot0 Delay Time"/Control 1. Those will need a Smoother block immediately after the Pot0 block. Turning the Delay Time control with a Smooter block sounds horrible while there is a signal running thru the circuit. A couple of the patches will also need Feedback path levels reviewed & tweaked (lowered a bit) to tame the volume and remove some distortion artifacts. And considering I have no idea what actual described patches sound like, overall, I think we have some decent starting points for the Poor Man's Timeline patch set.

Sorry for the delay, I’ve been neglecting the actual build so I spent some time putting the two binaura’s together. Happy with how they came out. Still have to drill the enclosures but the bulk of the soldering is done.

As for the stereo reverse delay. I’m getting the incompatibility message again with it. Tried saving it again in case of a copy and paste error, but got the same error message.

@Cybercow I really appreciate all this, let me know if there is anything I can do to help smooth your process. I’m really excited to be involved in this, but you deserve all of the recognition for your skill, generosity, and help with something like this for fun.

All hail the goat, er… COW

You're running SpinCAD Designer version 99.1070 , right??? On Mac or Windows?

Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, ??? (Just want to identify cuz I have access to a few different machines to try things on.)
And with the "incompatibility message", what is the exact message and what specific action caused the message to appear? Did you change the filename extension to ".spcdj" ?

Windows 11. Spincad version .991070. The error message is the same as before. “This file may be from an incompatible version of spincad designer”

I used the same process as all the others.

Hmmmm . . . . I'm thinking my old MacBook (macOS 'Big Sur') laptop may be the culprit there. I saved the last edits for the Reverse Delay from there. I was just on my Windows machine and re-saved everything after adding in the "Smoother" blocks to the Delay Time control on all the patches. (And by the way, after just testing them all burned to an EEPROM in an actual Binaura build - they sound MUCH better when tweaking the Delay Time controls.)

Any way, so here's D06 Stereo Reverse Delay.spcdj - please try again . . . .
(Just save it over the last one. I've removed the code from the previous D06 submission post.)
