You can get micro amounts of lead from handling your solder, and like comradehoser said, you can get from touching the solder side of the board. It is a precautionary step in clean-up so it doesn't absorb through skin or be injested when you eat after working on a pcb. Lead is one of those elements that builds up in your body without any immediate effects, however you can prevent that by washing your hands each time you get up from your workstation. The rosin fumes are the real problem, you don't definitely don't need to breathe those in. I can circumvent the handwashing by wearing some nitrile gloves.
 
Well, the soap I assume is because you are touching the solder roll. I don't know if "special" soap is needed. I don't think so. I also don't know how "bioavailable" lead in a lead-tin alloy (with rosin) is, actually. But, probably anything where you are touching solder and then your mouth or mucous membrane (nose, gums, eyes) or things that go in your holes (food, drink), is probably not a good idea.

Just like kindergarten and Covid times, do your thing, then wash your hand before sticking your fingers in your face, and you should be good.

Yeah. I see that as marketing snake oil. Growing up with a military chemistry background, any soap with lye in it is effective enough to loosen small particles of most any schmootz, including lead & mercury. At least, that's what I was taught.

I tend to pass over the distortion offerings as they are usually one trick ponies. I like one that can dial in other tones.
