Zombie thread bump, just curious regarding this supplier. How is their shipping times from “submit payment”

Just a head's up:
I do have to chime in with an LCSC horror story -- at least for folks in the USA.

I learned (the very hard way) that after the third line item, UPS charges $3-5 **PER LINE ITEM ON THE INVOICE**
for some kind of bullshit 'paperwork fee'. So I ordered ~$200 in parts from LCSC and got soaked for $250 from
UPS in tariff related nonsense. It was pretty galling to pay $0.80 for a strip of 100 capacitors but have to pay
$5 for the luxury of actually importing it.

In the future I'll probably stick to things that I can realistically only get at LCSC (there were some RF amplifiers/filters
that didn't have a local source) or higher value items where paying the line item fee makes sense once it's amortized
against the component costs.

I assume that all of the carries do this and it's not a UPS-specific thing, but please chime in if you've had a different
experience.

This isn't a problem for JLC because they do prepaid DDP where they pre-handle the paperwork.

I got to thinking about this, and Mouser and DigiKey it seems no longer carry the through-hole/PDIP package of the LM13700 or the NE5517. So I made a board for the SMD version. ---- UNVERIFIED ---- Schematic & board and gerbers included in zip.

Could be shrunk with SMD resistors instead of TH

Thanks to effects layouts proto board version for the inspiration
Saw this thread was revived so I thought I'd bring this up. I don't recall if this worked or not. So my boards are gone, which means they got used or I put them in the ewaste bin. my bet is that it doesn't work. However, terminate the other OTA in whatever application you need it for.

My recommendation is to use the SMD footprint in your PCB designs. There are likely better adapter boards out there. Want to say madbean has one for a newer project , but don't recall off the top of my head.
