Cujo Fuzz BC546a

What would be a good substitute for the two BC546a’s in this circuit? Maybe 2n3904 or 2n2222? Can anyone think of any others? Don’t have any BC546a’s (thought I did) but do have many, many others and just finished up a couple builds. I did just place an order with Mouser, but that’s gonna take like 2 whole days!

Thanks! That’s handy. I tried 2n3903, 2n3904, BC546c, BC548 and BC549 while I waited and they all sound nearly identical in this particular circuit. Is it safe to say BC546a will also sound similar to these?

I'm not familiar with that circuit, but looking at the specs some of them have a wider hfe range than others, but I doubt you'd hear much difference given how many and the ranges you've tried
