The Contact a.k.a Touch Drive. I'm finding I like this one a lot on first listen... nice amount of gain (low to medium), and nice err... touch sensitivity (or am I just swayed by marketing?). It's a little bit similar to the Southern Belle, but this one has a more natural tone to me (the SB is more sizzly in the high end).

I wish it had a A100K for the volume though... I used B100K based on the schematic, but the taper is not great--too much volume change in the bottom 10% of knob. If you plan to build this I'd suggest swapping.

This, along with another I built at the same time, are the first in a long while that I attempted to add a design to the enclosure. I used waterslide decals. I kind of rushed the application of the decal, so didn't do a great job of avoiding bubbles. And I also didn't bother to try to level the clearcoat, so there's lots of imperfections--I wasn't to picky about the looks since this was an experiment to see if I like these decals.

It's amazing what can be achieved with just tiny changes to an old circuit. As far as I can see it's a pretty much verbatim TS circuit but wth LEDs instead of silicon diodes for clipping. Still, it's a decent sounding TS.

I actually have a TS with LED clipping as an option (the one in my avatar), so your post prompted me to get it out and compare. They are pretty similar sounding--I think the Touch gets the edge though, something about it feels more lively--I think the designer tweaked it in just the right way.
