Thanks ….will give a different power adapter a try. (What I have is an inexpensive D’Addario I bought on Amazon) … wound so like that to be the issue …any recommendations

I am relatively new to building pedals, only my 8th and up to now I guess I have been lucky. I have just completed an ADHD and when I ran power to it using an adapter I got an oscillating sound. I checked it with battery power and it was fine and also using the same power adapter I powered it...

The pedal is on “loan” to a friend out of state so not in the near term….

oops sorry about that… I didn’t really pay attention when making the adjustment so not really sure about % of rotation.

Thanks….also on the Mas Malo top end of the Hot tends to be unusable…Bias was set using a multimeter to just over 4.5v using the TP

Hope this is helpful, my very amateur effort but it does work….followed the build doc used a W20K instead of a W25K and as previously mentioned used a 22n for C2.Set the TP at close to 4.5v Played against a Mas Malo …they are very close.

Thanks for the responses …… noticed on a build kit from “Musikding” they list an 8.2V 1.3W…… how much difference if any does it make to go with a 1.3w instead of a 1/2w

The PedalPCB build doc identify the Zener Diode in the Awfull Waffle as Value “8V2” and under Type “Zener diode 1/2W 9.1V.“ Should it be an 8.2V 1/2W or a 9.1V 1/2W. Appreciate any guidence
