Not a bad idea. I think I am going to build another of the boards soon with a few changes. One of the cool things about using the crimped connectors is I can pull the board and replace it with another no soldering required.
Just hard clipping like this.
What's funny is the "hiss" is only when playing and it seems to be there even when set to LED and with the gain down. It's a sound I haven't really heard in the other builds I have done. It's kind of like a distorted overtone for lack of a better term. I will see if I can try to capture it...
The distortion plus was the first pedal I successfully made. I used the PPCB board.
This is my take on the distortion +. It isn’t exactly what I was hoping for but I’m thinking of it more like a prototype. I will probably play with changing pot tapers and I will also fix the pots that don’t...
When I first started working in Civil construction all state and federal jobs were metric. I could have worked happily in metric but other than 1 guy who was from the UK no one else could. So we labor intensively converted the plans and survey stakes to feet. After a few years it seems like...
Let’s not look past the fact that they have somehow engineered the impossible here and put both the DC and quarter inch jacks in the correct place on the back.
Not had a bunch of time to work on things lately but took a day off work and this is one of the things I got done.
I actually like this pedal more than I would like to admit. With the additional volume I added I can set one side with no gain and high volume to tighten up the front of a...
Been a bit since I have posted life has been busy and I haven’t done much building.
Not so much of a build but a repair and rescue. I have owned this wah since I was a teenager and at some point I poorly converted it to true bypass but it never really worked right.
I don’t normally play...
Here is the Whole Hearted V2. It is a dual LM386 based distortion pedal. The artwork is based on drawings my daughter used to do when she was little. The first version of this pedal was my first attempt at modding/designing a circuit. This is updated now that I know a bit more about pedals...

The holder

I wasn’t sure the holder would work but it’s just low enough to fit under the board. It would be easy to trim if you had to.
Here is my build of the @PedalBuilder Harmonic Percolator. They helped me with the germaniums for this project as well as my Muffin Factory.
The enclosure was designed by @steviejr92. It’s super sturdy and well made. It looks really nice.
This pedal sounds great I have only played it into a...
