I've gotten likeable results with hot glue, squirting a blob into the hole with the enclosure clamped on a flat surface, and quickly pressing the LED into it from inside. On a good day, the glue is flush and flat with the outside. If it isn't, I can push it out and try again.

Huh, I downgraded to 7.7.0 in anticipation of problems. Honestly I prefer the way the libraries work, and a couple other minor things. I had some unfinished projects in the newer version, but I guess there are good reasons they were never finished....

Just to add that the Spark and similar amps use bass reflex ports to add some depth. I would think that a cab sim going into a ported 4x4 like a Roland Bass Cube, for example, would sound fuller than an 8" guitar-type speaker in an open back cab/combo with no cab sim.
