Hey sorry for the late replies! I left my board at our practice space but I'll try and post a gut shot Sun or Mon.
I have to say I really dig this thing. SUPER useful and versatile, especially with the order switch. It's found a home after my drive pedals to give me a different flavor.
I have pcbs for the 6 Band EQ as well as the Cracklejack. I also have a 1590C enclosure and since there isn't a "level" for volume boost on the EQ, I thought it might be fun to try putting them together in one enclosure.
My plan is to place this combo pedal after my drive pedals for tone...
Does this true-bypass wiring diagram work for the updated Kliche' Mini pcb? I notice the one I bought a couple weeks ago looks different than this pic. Thanks!
SOLVED. For anyone that runs across this thread looking for the answer...
Yes, you can use film caps instead of electrolytic, as long as the values are the same AND they physically will fit in the space.
Is the reverse true for the original post? I've got a Kliche' Mini that calls for 7 of the 1uf Electrolytic caps. I seem to have plenty of the 1uf wima film caps and wondering if I can use those with success.
Hello. Would it be harmful or compromising to use 1uf WIMA film caps in places where the BOM calls for Electrolytic? I accidentally ordered the WIMA caps. Whoops!
Hello! Wondering if it would be possible, or even make sense, to build a Kliche' Mini and mod it so that the bypass/buffer can be turned off/on?
Depending on where I put the pedal on my board I may not prefer to have the buffer on in some configurations. If I remember correctly, I believe...
Hello!
So I have a Crackle Jack pcb that I'd really like to add a 2nd output to for a tuner. Back in the day I used to have an original Zvex SHO that I'd use for this and I'd love to do the same with this Crackle Jack if possible.
The Crackle Jack IS supposed to be a SHO clone right? Only...
I rehoused my Duocast today and I'm having an issue where the Gain/Trim pot makes not change at all when turned.
Internally I have the low gain trimpot pretty low and the high trimpot pretty high.
Everything else works perfectly and it sounds really great. It's just that the "low gain" side...
Hello! Building a Southern Belle and wondering if there is an equivalent alternative for the 1n5817 Schottky diode? Or something "close enough". Thanks!
I think it'd be great to have DIY project for a splitter box that allows you to use two amps that SAFELY solves the grounding issues. Something that does the job of the full tone ABY or a Humdinger from Gig Rig.
