    MONDO POWER UNIT

No schematic, I'm afraid, sorry. Q1 and Q2 are BS170, Q3 is 2N2222A and the IC is a LM386. I think the 50Hz bump comes from the IC.

    MONDO POWER UNIT

The Mondo Power Unit has "got what amps crave", according to the PCB. It's a circuit that Dunwich Amps designed and described as "a simple little bass preamp/OD but it has a massive low end bump." That bump, or boost, is supposed to be at 50Hz. It sure does go BOOM when you hit the Bass Boost...

    (Vero) Shin-Ei ME-7, v2.0, Wah-Tornado-Siren-Volume

Oh, very cool and good luck! I followed the BoM of the vero layout. So, a 42TM013 transformer, yes. And I used sockets for the transistors. I didn't try a lot, probably the 2 mentioned, maybe something else. I settled for 2N2222, I think. But I can double check later this week, it's currently...

    (Vero) Shin-Ei ME-7, v2.0, Wah-Tornado-Siren-Volume

@gtfields13 , @EisengesisFX Yeah, this circuit derserves a PCB. I'd probably buy one too, if available. Also, I sent the schematic to Moonn Electronics. The reaction was "crazy cool stuff, that goes into my pretty big folder of potential PCBs to put out ...".

    Delay with RNG Modulation?

RNG modulation? I don't know. But if you'll buy an "I", there's this with RING modulation on the repeats. ;)

    (Vero) Shin-Ei ME-7, v2.0, Wah-Tornado-Siren-Volume

On one of my strolls through the impressive catalog of dirtbox layouts I stumbled across a strange kind of Japanese late 60ies thing, the Shin-Ei ME-7, a "multi-effect". The acid must have been pretty good back then, I mean the idea behind this thing is just far out, they were like "let's make a...

    PPCB Dirt Dauber

I grabbed this PCB with my last order without really knowing what to expect. I was surprised at how much I liked it. The "Octave" is a very cool square wave synth type voice, it sounds like an overdriven organ and the (monophonic) tracking is pretty good. A lot of different sounds are...

    PPCB MOTORIZER

Thanks. Using the clippers sounds cool, and maybe that's obvious, but I'll add that their brightness will depend on the Gain pot (more gain = more light) and also the clippers won't be synchronized regarding brightness.

    PPCB MOTORIZER

This was a no brainer. Lemmy in a box. Delivers in spades. Headroom à go-go. Louder, faster, harder! Yeah!

    HYPERLIGHT - ring modulated delay

Yeah! 🤘 Or expression. Gliding from the "no ring mod" end of the Freq knob into the ring mod zone in Glitch mode is pretty cool.

    HYPERLIGHT - ring modulated delay

This is a vero layout I found on dirtbox. The circuit is by Bluff Chill devices. Ring mod on the repeats sounded like fun - and it is! Dirty, noisy robots and stuff. I went with the recommendation to add a boost at the input and up the Freq control from 5 to 10k which gives a bit more range and...

    Overloader Muff

So, when @Morbidpale presented his Overloader he had me at "bass boost". ;) I mean, anything Muff related already has my attention and this sounded right up my alley. And it indeed is! Such a great circuit. The amount of bass this thing can spit out is amazing. I tried it with my Ampeg setup...

Need help finding a bass preamp to build

The Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B, with external bias control, might be something. Fuzzdog and Moonn sell a PCB for that, or do it on vero.

    Vero adventures

I'll just say it up front: I really don't like building on vero board. All those cuts and links, then rows to be missed, also wires everywhere and just generally too many occasions to fuck up something. On the other hand, some circuits are not available on PCBs (or I didn't find those), so I'm...

    Some FuzzDog Dirt

Sometimes, I get PCBs from the chaps at Fuzzdog, mostly only if I can't find something anywhere else, because I generally don't like their side jacks and power" approach. Going for top jacks and power often means that all the controls have to be moved down ... or do off-board wiring. So, this...
