Cutting disc on dremel, or if you're really in a pinch a thin cutting disc on an angle grinder has certainly taken care of it for me before :P

I had them in an old amp years ago (ac30) and it did seem to work nicely for me. Might’ve been placebo but they’re so cheap there’s basically no downside to trying imo

That's kinda what I was going to say. If I use a good sharp pair of flush/diagonal cutters you can get things pretty clean with that alone - cut the wires off but also I've found if there's enough solder left on the pot for the cutters to "grab" you can cut right through that as well. Ends up...
