    Captain bit question

https://www.digikey.com/ if you're still looking 3 years later. couldn't find them elsewhere. Turns out I was wrong, they do not have any either.

    3pdt different types of wiring

Are you telling me I wired it correctly but with the switch itself rotated? Holy cow! With the bypass sound working correctly and the LED switching ON/OFF correctly, I never even considered that!

    3pdt different types of wiring

Yes, mine is rotated 90° in the picture. Sorry for wrong pin numbers but thank you for this diagram! I'm at work and that was only photo I had on my cell to include here.

    3pdt different types of wiring

Ok, thank you, that sort of makes sense to me. I've always wired the 3pdt manually, never used a breakout board, so I didn't know some were wired differently (but acheived the same result).

    Add momentary Octave to Parenthesis

Sorry to hop on this thread for this, but what is "SW" anyway? I have this board coming and there is no SW option. I'm not even sure how to map what they have here to a pedalpcb.com pcb with "IN", "GND", "SW" and "OUT" solder points. Input signal to FX PCB Input signal from input jack Ground...

    3pdt different types of wiring

Thank you, but not at all what I was hoping to hear. According to the board at stompboxparts.com, they are bridging different pins than I have been doing. My pic here doesn't do justice, but here it is anyway: In that wiring, I have pins 1 and 8 bridged, and 7 & 9 bridged (per the...

    3pdt different types of wiring

I'm seeing that there are different types of 3PDT switches, meaning there is different wiring!!! I'm seeing a 3PDT PCB from stompboxparts.com that has wiring that only matches some types of footswitches but not others, and the usual template from PedalPCB.com: And this shows wiring that is...

I just built a Underminer sub-octave and almost no volume

Built a second one with all new parts. SAME BULLSHIT, no sound at all. MUST be a bad batch of IC chips from Tayda, can't be anything else. Going to make a 3rd attempt IF I can find this chip elsewhere.

I just built a Underminer sub-octave and almost no volume

All solder points are good, no cross-over at all. I have MPSA14 transistors on the way, supposed to be delivered today but FedEx has screwed up again and the parts are in Mississippi still and have been for 2 days. Pathetic. If I ever get those, I'll swap out the MPSA13 for the correct 14 one...

I just built a Underminer sub-octave and almost no volume

So after some research, I'm leaning towards the use of the MPSA13 instead of the MPSA14 being the cause of the issue. Since it does sort of work (all pots and toggles do affect the sound), and I'm reading now that the 13 is NOT the same as the 14 and is not a suitable substitute, despite what I...

I just built a Underminer sub-octave and almost no volume

I will upload pix tomorrow, as I just saw this request and don't have time right now. Know that this isn't a regular job. All pots and toggles were wired, not put on the pcb, and I have wires and elec tape, like a lot, making it very hard for pix to help. All connections have been triple...

I just built a Underminer sub-octave and almost no volume

I built the underminer sub-octave synth. When not active, sound passes through no issue. Activate the pedal, and even with Volume maxed, there's very little sound. I have inspected it and can't see any issues. This is not my first pedal but it is my first failure; worst part is it's a bday gift...

    Face Melter not working :(

Thanks for all of that. Will do, will do, will do, and .... will do. \m/

    Face Melter not working :(

I just built a Face Melter and kept the name but designed a printable paper cover using the melting dude from Robocop. Worked just fine, functionality-wise and was my first pedal. However, the LED ring only has 3 of 4 of the LEDs working when on, and the 4th (on the right of the 3PDT) sometimes...
