    Cattle Driver (Buffalo FX TD-X)

    I have a Past FX. TD Y and it is as good at the Butler TubeDriver without the noise if you are running a deep fix rig, straight into an amp be another matter bit I do not play that way any more. It is also far superior to they the Hermida Dover Drive. The Cattle Driver matches the TD Y and I...

    Conqueror Fuzz

    When the Conqueror Fuzz comes back into stock I assume it will be plated for a transformer rather than an inductor. Will I be able to easily fit a Fasel Indictor into the new footprint or am I better off looking for a transformer ?

    Pcb ID by number

    I have once again found the time to start building again and i am confronted with a box of pcbs, some of which I know and others I do not. They are marked by numbers for the most part but I don't have an index of the numbers eg I don't know what PCB 294 is but it must be impoertant because I...

    Muffin Factory Faceplate

    I am not really sure how to use my Muffin Factory Faceplate. I have not encountered this type before. I would like to see how others are doing theirs. I didn't anticipate having to do anything other than drill holes.

    Muffin

    I was checking the my Muffin Factory board against the BOM and I saw that the parts list calls for 2 x 10 position DIP switches, but the layout on the board seems to call for 4 x 5 position DIP switches. Am I misunderstanding something ?

    EP Booster

    It seems simple to me too. Getting the right IDSS on the the 5484 (3Ma) and 5485 (7-8 Ma) is a primary problem. Alternatives that are not as critical could be the solution but finding it ?

    PedalPCB = A+ ... Mammoth = BIG FAIL

    y experience with Mammoth is that they are a bit slow for the way orders are being turned around by most others in 2019, ovenight service is sort've expected theses days, I am slightly ambivolanr about thet. I wo want to recommend a Pedalpcb associate: Das Musikding, they label every...

    Muffin factory

    That is a good idea, I would like to find somwe really truly good reliable sockets rather than busting up machine dip sockets and the all too rare old school ones, that are expensive, hard to find and need to be well cleaned before usage. I have found that diodes and supporting components seems...

    Build Etiquette question

    Just te add to the above comments. I have a Moog System 55 that has mods and fixes thatinclude everything from flea clips and radio shack caps wrapped together to something that looks like a chewing gum wrapper. Getting your stuff working and stable to achieve your intentions is more important...

    looking for 42TM011-RC transformer

    Unless you roll your own specific transformers are a premium item a good example is the 14T transformer for the Simulcast, good luck finding from a smaller supplier at a discount. Sometimes you just have to dig in and do a Mouser or Digikey purchase, you can get a fair discount buying at...

    Muffin factory

    The Muffin Factory based on the Big Muff can have a incredibly wide range of different components. These days all ceramic capped versions of the Muff are not real common. I am looking at the parts list for the Muffin and I see a 560pf cap in three locations. I am thinking of using an Mlcc...

    power polarity

    I think it may be helpful in the specs if you indicated whether a project is center negative or positive. Most classics are + ground while the recent standard is center -. but high quality items like Eventides are center +, As users it is something we have to thnk about every day.

    PedalPCB = A+ ... Mammoth = BIG FAIL

    NJM4580 EOL

    I was just ordering some NJM / JRC 4580 OPAmps at Mouser and an EOL (end of life) notice popped up. I realise that this is likely not the place to post this bit things like EOL, the associated stock and overstock flushing, also the blowing out of deleted products and components is something...
