NJM4580 EOL

I was just ordering some NJM / JRC 4580 OPAmps at Mouser and an EOL (end of life) notice popped up. I realise that this is likely not the place to post this bit things like EOL, the associated stock and overstock flushing, also the blowing out of deleted products and components is something that can save us all a lot of money and give us stuff to work with. Things have gotten better, situations like the RCA 3080: tooling and wafer stock gone and that is it, one piece of wafer stock extant and it can be reproduced now, however that does not mitigate the loss of high volume availability of the devices, Linear systems will make you 5-10 or more of a certain chip if it originally came from them, is that cool or what ? If things work thwe way they formerly have, the 4580d and othere, probably just the N or DIP configuration (my favorite) will be available at a nice deep discount. Stock up kids
