I have a huge packet of zener diodes, but I failed to look and see if I have 2V7 diodes. Unfortunately, my pack doesn't have that value. In the Cetus, the 2V7 diodes are used in series with another valued Zener diode. I believe that they are being used as clippers. One is paired with a 3V6...

This pedal reflects @blackhatboojum hard work with this PCB. It is a monster of a circuit, but a great, warm delay. I had some added clock noise, but placing a 22 pf capacitor across pin 1 and 2 of the 4558 IC cleaned it up nicely. I do not recall the reasoning, but it worked!

I have been playing with some AI backgrounds and this was the best one yet.

I recently struggled with a Big Muff that I was making too. I used this site to help guide my changes. From my memory, the transistors do not influence the sound as much as the other components. I had to play around with the caps to get the sound that I wanted. I hope this can help...
