A few months ago I was missing a pedal that I used to have but later sold, the Barber Gain Changer. I was kinda surprised that no one had released a pcb based on this versatile dirt pedal yet. Then I came across a post by @MattG on his design of a PCB based on the schematic and his builds of the pedal. I reached out and he was kind enough to send me a pcb free of cost as well as a printed BOM.
I followed his build threads and that of @MichaelW using the same PCB from MattG to build my very own. It sounds just as I remember of the pedal from Barber. It can do it all in the low to medium dirt space, from airy, edge of breakup grit to compressed grind.
Many thanks to MattG again for his generosity. It’s people like him who make this a great community.
