My 5 latest completed builds.

PPCB Klon. This my first Klon, I need to spend more time with it but initial impressions are that it somewhat lives up to its reputation. I felt a little dirty building a non true bypass pedal but the buffer is good and if it makes its way onto my board I’d feel good about it just after the FF etc.

PPCB Precision Drive. I really don’t care for tube screamers (but I keep trying), and my first impressions of this pedal were meh. I brought it back out to compare with the Klon and I think I really dig it with the drive completely off. The tone shaping is really powerful and it made my neck humbucker sound as good as I’ve heard it sound (clean or into a dirty amp).

Effects Layouts Mini. This my second EL Mini. The first with SMD J201s. What a great board, and of course a great sounding circuit. The first one I made ended up with a friend.

PPCB Ionostrofear. It’s good. But there’s a lot of great fuzzes out there haha. Maybe it’ll win me over in the long game.

Effects Layouts Megalith. I finished this one tonight. So far I don’t love it on guitar, but maybe it’ll shine on bass. Lots of different sounds but nothing that knocked me out.

I've been curious about the precision drive as a TS alternative and the Attack knob seems like it could be cool as a noise gate alternative. I love the smaller form factor Megalith. I very much prefer the Megalith on bass though so try that out.

Super cool builds. I love how cohesive the graphics are together. The clear washers are also something I don't think I have seen before.

The attack is like a high pass filter, in that it chooses what frequencies the drive boots. It’s pretty quiet itself but I still think you’d want a Zuul or something for high gain.

I’ll have try the Megalith on bass tonight. Is it synthy? I wonder if it’d pair well with a Moog MF101 clone :)

Thank you :)

@KT88 clued me into the washers. Love my switches carries them.

It's on the list for that really sharp gate. I've not played a gate that felt natural to my hands and ears but supposedly the Zuul is pretty much the king. Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I will pass on the precision drive then.

I actually had originally typed out that it feels synthy playing it because it creates such full signal no matter how you set it up and when you dial the knobs with signal coming through they all have interesting sweeping changes to the signal. It is definitely one of my favorite fuzzes for really aggressive bass. I don't think I ever ran a synth through it, but I'd be curious to hear back if you try. Arkaim > Mofeta seemed to really shine from my recollection to give some wild tone shaping options.
