Just wrapped up a pair of Day Dream Delays. Did the artwork in Photoshop, sent two of LoveMySwitches' Blue Sparkle 'Limited Powder Drop' enclosure and the artwork/drill file to AmplifyFun and stuffed 'em with PedalPCB's Day Dream Delay boards. Great sounding delays!
Thanks! I have to admit, these are two of the nicer builds I've ever conducted. Sometimes I spend more time coordinating the pedal's aesthetics than on the actual build. When it comes to choosing a font, I have over 15K from which to choose. (I used to be a digital type-setter and still have all my font collections. And they're still growing.
Yep that's definitely the case for me too. Although partly that's because I'm usually designing my own PCBs as well. I hear you on fonts, I'm a teacher and we tend to make a lot of posters, so I've got a fair few as well (although maybe not 15k!)
It maybe shouldn't be true, but I'm more likely to play a pedal if I'm also happy with the way it looks visually. I've got some nice sounding pedals from my early Adobe Illustrator days that don't get much of a run.
