Kewpie Fuzz Hfe??

Was wondering if any particular Hfe for the 5088s was preferable in Q1-Q4? Any input appreciated

I'll measure them as soon as I get a chance.

I'll have to pull the PCB, I can't desolder this one from the top because of the surrounding film caps otherwise I'd do it now.

I've built a few...I think most of mine were around 4-500, I never really checked though and it always sounds great.


But that doesn't matter now because @Robert is gonna go straight to the source.

Our boy Robert will get us the on-board values, but (can't find it right now) the images I saw looked like off-the-shelf, Central 5088s. Similar specimens I have line up with Nostradoomus' values.
