PPCB 3 Channel Splitter and 3 Channel Mixer Question

Is the PPCB 3 Channel Splitter and the PPCB 3 Channel Mixer essentially doing the same thing as what the JHS Buffered Splitter and Summing Amp are doing in this video? I'd much rather build something like this than buy it from them. Sorry if this was addressed before but I couldn't see it in a search.

thanks for sharing the video. the 3-in and 3-out PPCB boards would do the same thing, except that you can then have 3 channels in parallel to play with. and of course you can have more than one effect in line for each channels if you want to do so.

Not as much mix-and-match craziness like you could get with the VFE Klein Bottle, but a lot cheaper and simpler option for getting to try out those kinds of mixes.
