Need help with Pathogen!

Not a pro talking here, but have some experience tho.

This pathogen drives me nuts. I measure voltages where dc goes in but after and on the negative side of the protection diode I measure nothing.

I only have dc at the led and 'out'. The dc at out drops if I engage the pedal.

Audiosignal goes in the ic1 at lug 3 but stops there. No dc is hitting the IC'S

I reflowed everything.

PLEASE help me out!

DC dropping out makes me think the voltage is shorted somewhere. Do you have the dc jack wired correctly? Is there a solder bridge anywhere? Maybe replace the diode and try again.

Good luck: it’s probably something simple that’s being overlooked.

No bridges, dc jack ok and replaced the diode. Still not working.

But thanks!

No its not touching
Bummer! That would have been a nice easy fix. Sure looks close. Is it loose? Could it be broken internally? You could check for continuity between that terminal and the center pin.

If the jack is good, maybe a solder bridge on the back somewhere creating a short?

Looks like you accidentally marked this "solved" Probably want to un-check that if you're still looking for suggestions.
