I finished this one but went back and cleaned up the wiring as I initially through together the wiring to see if it worked. It took me a few days to figure out the calibration process but once I got it right this pedal sounds incredible. I’m getting ready to do the AP1 version and weighing the option of housing it in an actual Aquapuss Mk2 enclosure. I’m not sure if I can stomach the $100 just for an enclosure tho.

The colour on your enclosure looks amazerballzz — I see zero reason to rehouse your build in a Dunlop-WH Agua Gato MKII box.

Sweet build.

One of the fabled circuits I learned of before the advent of widespread DIY... I wasn't aware of this PCB, the GAS is strong!

Thanks a lot man, the desire to rehouse has been taken down lol. It was a fun build and has some good sounds in it. Desire for an aqua puss and ts10 got me into this hobby.

Yes, I set the frequency with a dmm then the rest by ear. I do want to get a cheap oscilloscope to check my work but I’m happy with where it’s at.
this looks great. im in a similar situation. I built the ap1 mk2. want to build the mk1. I just wish the enclosure was just a tad bit bigger.

im thinking of ordering a tayda drilled enclosure for the next one. I think there are build files and designs here. they look a little better than the pub knob setup. https://www.cpearson.me.uk/2023/03/14/aqua-puss-clone-enclosure/

Oh man, why’d you have to share this? I have all the parts for an ap1 build except enclosure and pcb. The white looks fantastic. I’m reasonably certain my ap2 is in a 1590bb. It is definitely a squeeze and I had to elongate (dremel) the jack holes (lol) so that I would have clearance for the jacks from the pcb itself.

I think we will both have to do this. I think my ap2 is in a 1590bbs maybe it was a bb2. I cant remember. the box needs to just be like 5% larger

I think you’re right. Tone geek is going to drop some updated boards later this month and I’ll grab an ap1 with those.
