Okay, fess up. Which one of you weirdos talked me into building this thing??

What the heck.

What a weird pedal. I need to go read up on it, but so far I've just been trying to figure it out the hard way.

Seems like t's a fuzz with no gain control into a delay with pitch shifted repeats, and sometimes vibrato? Also the depth pot seems like it works backwards?

The fuzz is nice, and cleans up pretty well with volume changes, and the fuzz into delay isn't bad with the weirdness dialed out, but I'm still struggling to figure out how to control/ use the main weirdness feature. I did sometimes get some mangled tape sounds out of it which is a sound I'm into, but the low tide I just built does that much better.

Even though it sounds pretty broken and disconcerting at the extreme settings, I stayed up late last night playing with it, and I wasn't disappointed. I think I just need to find the right context for the weird dive-bombing repeat sound. And whenever I get frustrated with that I can just dial it back to fuzz and delay which is always fun.

That doesn’t sound like something I would enjoy at all… I’m still mad about the arpeggiator (what am I supposed to do with this thing!) weird noise pedals aren’t for me.. but clean build man well done.

This circuit is definitely on my 'to breadboard first' considering the parts count. Awesome looking build inside and out!

That's how I feel about the leprechaun. When I hear that magic sparkle noise, I just want it to stop.

This one is keeping my attention so far because it's not really a fundamentally bad sound. It's just confusing. I feel like if I could find the right settings and the right riff it could be cool.

At least it's not a yet-another anything.

Neat build! clean switch and gain pot are worthy additions. Its actually a pretty cool delay without the fuzz (and with the fuzz for that matter)

Thanks! I think I’ll look into adding a gain pot. I spent some more time playing it last night and really enjoyed some of the sounds, but mostly with my volume rolled way down to tame the fuzz.

Clean switch is probably my fav mode. There is a noticeable vol drop when the clean is activated. But nothing a boost/drive pedal in front wont handle. I've seen some mention adding a small boost inside the pedal for the clean mode, if i build it again that definitely something id try. Id also add the clean to a footswtcih instead of toggle next time

Ive had my eye on this pedal for years (delay junkie) kicking myself i didnt try it sooner. On paper it didnt really apeal to me, one repeat, fuzz you cant control.. but with modification its killer, will be staying on my board for good
