Castellated holes on Eagle

I’m trying to do castellated holes in Eagle. I get a DRC Dimension error which I can approve. But the auto router won’t route the holes. Any ideas?

Yeah Kevin gave me some ideas.
So one workaround I found was to:
1. make the board larger.
2. router
3. make the board smaller, creating the castellated holes.
4. accept DRC Dimension errors.

I did this, and sent the file the JLC. It seemed to take it fine. But the upcharge on castellated holes is $36!! Wow. That might work for a larger run but not for an individual user.

Yeah, extra fee for the castellated holes is usualy high.

I needed castellated holes on the outside edge of the pcb. Below is my workaround - a hole on a protruding piece of "temporary wing" from the laminate. I scored the hole with an xacto blade (both sides) and then removed the excess with a file.

I have an alternative: copy the library part, remove the left pad and simply make a half circle cut on the dimension layer. You can still fold the tab over the PCB to secure it and no expensive uncharge is required.
