Even more new Tayda colors!

Has anyone tried the metallic candy yellowcolor? The site photos make it look like the gold metallic, which I've tried before.

Kinda looks like what happens when you put the brush back into the yellow paint without cleaning it out first.
As bricks notes, it does look pretty much like the photo:

Looks pretty much exactly like the picture. I have one that I’ll try to build up and photograph asap

Thanks, gents. Well that's disappointing, but now I know (y)

Metallic Candy Yellow on the left, Metallic Gold on the right.
The Candy Yellow is a high gloss with a coarser glitter/sparkle undercoat and a lot of depth to it, while the Metallic Gold is more of a satin metallic surface.

Yeah, I think I just had some preconceptions and internal preference for something I have in mind. Beggars can't be choosers 🙂

I used the gold for my Fraudhacker build and it's perfect.

Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me. Maybe if it had slightly less flake the yellow would stand out more? Oh well.

Yeah, I got a few for some fuzz builds. I think they turned out great. And yeah, they do tend to come across more as gold than "yellow".

I asked Hugo the other day if they planned on bringing back candy copper and candy orange and doesn’t look it’s happening any time soon. He said “they are very difficult and expensive colors, we lost a lot of money on labor and powder.” They’re working on a solution but no ETA. Hopefully the other candy colors stick around. I really liked the candy copper.
