i’ve built this circuit a few times now; vero, pcb, tagboard, and now ‘perf/wood’.
inspired by the success of the perf/wood big muff, and after finding a perf layout for the ST-9 on effectlayouts, i decided i was going to attempt to do this board style again with my favorite overdrive circuit.
same method as before.
- print layout
- glue to wooden board
- drill relevant hole positions
- sand, varnish, repeat. (+ stain)
then the really fun part, loading the board:
(^ this 5089 was upside down and then i wondered why it wasn’t working properly lol)
used the same LF353H opamps as I did with the tagboard ST-9 build, and some nifty looking 1N914s that appear to test the same as regular ones.
