Before I upload photos from my phone, I do a quick edit on them and rotate them then save.
There's a catch, though. If my phone shows a portrait-mode pic and that's how I want to upload it, I can't just rotate it 360º — I've got to rotate it 90º or 180º or 270º, SAVE it, then edit it a 2nd time for the last bit of rotation to how I took the pic/how I want it to display when uploading it.
Editing the pic twice...
It's a PITA, but it works for me on my old iPhone 12. Used to have to do that with every other iPhone iteration I've had — you'd think Apple would've fixed this anomaly by now, but I guess Apple doesn't care about fixing forum-software glitches when they're iPhone is perfect and beyond reproach.
