Acer (Altero Kaede build)

Looks fantastic, thanks for posting!

What are you doing with the offboard wiring? I can see what look like little jumper wires at the top where we normally do power input and input/output ground, and similarly at the bottom for status LED and bypass switch wiring.

From what I can see of it, that footswitch looks like a SPST momentary, do you have a bypass circuit hidden behind the main effect PCB?

thanks!
i use the extra holes for stress relief on the wiring. and yes, there's a relayed true bypass under the main PCB.

Funny thing is that it's stress relief for the builder too. When I'm doing a new vero/stripboard that don't work
right away I've never regretted adopting that practice. gradual wear down on the wiring during debugging has caused me so much frustration haha. Just wanted to say thanks for spreading that idea, it's not the most apparent how much good this does in this particular build, I remember you using boards that you have etched yourself where it's very clear that this is good practice.

Also they do good with connectors like they do on the Aion fx boards.
