Even more new Tayda colors!

Sorry if this is old news, but I was browsing tayda today and saw two new-to-me colors: white hammer and silver gray hammer (the latter looks much lighter than the silver hammer).
Definitely new! This is the first I’ve seen about them.

Looking at those two new hammer colors right now, and they both look pretty much like a white hammered enclosure, with metallic sheen on the peaks of the texture— silver for the silver, and gold for the “white” one. I actually got a VERY similar look to this on an enclosure I did a while back by painting an enclosure with rustoleum hammered white, and then applying (and then wiping back) antique gold rub-n-buff

Oh man, that hammered white looks like it could be awesome. Would love to see a more clear picture to confirm the gold accents in it, as it would be perfect for an upcoming project I'm doing.

Looks to me like Tayda is going towards more durable finishes that are less prone to troubleshooting and defect. More hammered options, and they're really pushing the matte sand texture finishes while discontinuing finishes that are more prone to imperfections and defect (metallic, matte, etc.). Lucky for me, I use hammered and sand texture finishes almost exclusively, but I'm still on day 12 of waiting for my most recent order to get painted. Took about 7 days just to get the drilling done, and paint job is still pending after another 5 days.

In case you all didn't know, the workshop is overloaded 😬

I just received my latest order that had matte black sand texture and it looks like they switched their supply. This time around they were much more "sandy", if that makes sense. Flatter look, zero sheen, more texture. The plastic wrap around the enclosures was also different, but thankfully easier to take off. I'll try to get some comparison pictures shortly.

I messaged Tayda support about matte white and black for a recent order, and here's what Hugo had to say about a week ago: "it is available in website now but please note that this color (matte black) can take 3 weeks+"

I wanted the matte paint and the timing wasn't urgent for me so I placed an order a few days back and will see how long it takes.
How did it go btw, did it take 3 weeks? I would like to get a few matte blacks, but I guess I'll go with sand if it takes a very long time.

Edit: Hmm, it almost makes it sound like it was an ordering thing and that it doesn't actually take three weeks to paint the pedals with that color? Very weird wording. Currently it says:

"This color production can take longer time than other colors, we recommend ordering MATTE BLACK SAND TEXTURE for nice finish and long term availability"

Which I think was already there earlier too.

It took about a month total between when I placed the order and when it shipped (June 25-July 24). This was ~10 custom enclosures, half drilled, mostly different paint colors, and some random parts. I think 1-2 enclosures had bubbling and had to be redone, which added a few days. So it wasn't that bad, given that it's like 2 weeks normally for an order like that.

Just got a Tayda order with 3 painted and drilled enclosures. It took about one month from placing the order to it getting here.

It does really depend on which color you choose, they are definitely catching up after the pre-tariff crunch. My last order (Sept 1) took a week total to get to me, much faster than my orders in July/August. You can check with them (contact link on their website) to see whether your desired colors are backed up or in stock.

Eh, I was in no rush and I picked the cheapest colors that I liked. I am surprised they didn't add any tariffs though.
