Current Tayda fees after new tariff?

Idk I mean they make a solid argument. If they raised the price by exactly the tariff amount and had it like a subtotal in the price. Console 474 + Tariff 25 total 499 i could see a little bit of the consumer side. But yea as they said people got what they paid for, now that it cost nintendo a little less doesn’t mean they need to give it to you. I’m typically fuck corporations, but I see no reason as to why the consumer would be owed anything there.

You mean like Mouser and Digikey? I do agree, but I don't see the smaller vendors like APD, SBP or Smallbear or others doing this. I'm not defending Tayda and the higher shipping rates, just pointing out they're not the only ones that don't show the tariff separately. IMHO these other small vendors just quietly raise their prices accordingly. Who's to say they don't take advantage of the situation and raise the prices more than is actually necessary?

Well i was referring to the Nintendo article Robert posted. There really isn’t unless its priced to the point you lose customers due to cost. We’re not talking about food or medicine here. But yes how digikey and mouser did it, like a sales tax I would say they should probably refund that to the people
they sold to, I like the way they did that.

Today I discovered that shipping to Italy for less than 0.9 kg of components (about 92 $ worth) now costs over 126 $ with DHL. A few of weeks ago was as usual, about 34 $ with more material and about 1kg.

If these are the new shipping fee, Tayda is no longer an option for me.

Sorry to post again.
I hope there's a bug in Tayda's website.
If I increase the quantity of an item in my cart (one more 1N4001 diode, $0.02), the DHL DDP shipping cost doesn't change.

However, if I add a new item (a 1N4148 diode $0.01), the DHL DDP shipping cost increases by $1.04. If I add a larger and more expensive item, like a 4PDT footswitch ($3.99), it increases by about $1.28.
This doesn't seem to make much sense.

I've already contacted Tayda support. Has anyone else noticed the same behavior?

What is APD (amplified Parts)? Small Bear & Stomp Box parts are in MA & MI respectively, amplified parts is in AZ, they have all already paid the tariffs so the only thing they are passing on to us is their higher cost! Shipping is within the US and there are no additional tariffs state to state.

De minimis basically allowed imports into the US to pass through customs duty-free if the purchase was under $800. Now we are paying Tariffs on even small non-commercial amounts. It sucks, write your congressmen! Trump sucks!

De minimis basically allowed imports into the US to pass through customs duty-free if the purchase was under $800. Now we are paying Tariffs on even small non-commercial amounts. It sucks, write your congressmen! Trump sucks!

Except for some 60 countries including all of the EU and Switzerland to fight forced labor... not even joking... My customers in the U.S. have to pay an additional 12.5% for any product, and a 10 CHF fee on top (around 15 USD). Switzerland does not allow shipping unless duties are paid upfront... so it shows up at checkout.

It sucks all over! Import tariffs into the US are now 10% for the anti-forced labor countries, and 12.5% for the countries who don't stand against it. I think it's patently ridiculous that a hobbyist in the USA be forced to pay the very same tariff rates as say... Mouser. And realistically I'm not sure how Tayda is calculating things but if they sell a resister made in China it's 12.5% but a POT made in Mexico would be subject to a much lower Tariff, as they are based on county of manufacture not country of shipping.
