The Return of the King (of Tone) (AionFX Theseus Rev 1)

What did you wind up using for the "authentic diodes"? I think I used BA282's and 1S1588's in my Theseus (as I recall they were the fake 1S1588's from a certain vendor of dubious integrity ....HACK, HACK, HACKER). With all the KOT variants I've built I still prefer the Paragon with my mods the...

British Royalty Overdrive (Greer Royal Velvet)

I said that? ....sounds like something I'd say....:ROFLMAO: Great build and write up. I'm with you on the Greer pedals. I absolutely love the Mach 1 and Speedy. The Southland I built twice, the stock version was "meh" to me, but the second I used low vF Ge diodes and it made a big difference...

    ADHD v2 (Fulltone OCD Ge)

I think @Robert told me that the printed PCB values are v2.0 by default. I swapped the clippers with Ge's thus v2.0 Ge. I have no clue how close it is to the actual Ge version of the retail pedal. Sorry:)

    DEMO Acrylic Overdrive (Wampler Plexi-Drive)

Even Americans have to adopt and cultivate that "Nashville" accent when singing for what passes as "Country Music" these days. (Brad Paisley is from Milwaukee or something heh). So not a stretch for an Aussie. While I don't like their music, I have to respect Urban and Paisley both as pretty...

    DEMO Acrylic Overdrive (Wampler Plexi-Drive)

Been sitting on this board for a bit. Finally had the gumption to build it out. Another MIAB from Wampler. From what I can tell this is an earlier version without the mid-bump toggle. I've mentioned before that I'm not the biggest fan of JFET based MIAB emulations, I think my preference is...

    Informant Drive (1981 DRV)

Before pulling it out I'd just measure it with a DMM. You may need to lift one leg to get an accurate reading.

    Informant Drive (1981 DRV)

Sounds like something's wrong. As you can see from my demo, unity for me was around noon. Maybe a bum pot?

    Aion FX Emerald Resonant Phaser

I built the Emerald at @Guardians of the analog recommendation, he hasn't steered me wrong yet. It's a great phaser! Lots of sounds in it. @VanWhy Do your own demo's dude!! (j/k) :ROFLMAO:

    Maleficent Mids (JHS Haunting Mids)

Well that would explain why the effect is so "subtle" on your build hahaha. Glad you could track it down so fast.

    Maleficent Mids (JHS Haunting Mids)

It's been a while since I've had mine out, but as I recall the switch affects the sweep of the frequency control.

    Paragon - Modification questions

Instead of using the "high gain" resistor, you can use the stock 10k and change the gain pot to a B250k. This gives you more gain but it's spread over the range of the pot instead of a fixed resistor.

DEMO Parthenon Drive (Wampler Pantheon) Demo Added

That would be "Toob" and "Toan" hahaha

DEMO Parthenon Drive (Wampler Pantheon) Demo Added

ok, for the sake of science.....I just tried it. Nope not microphonic enough to sing into. Just enough to pickup and amplify my switching and when I hit it with my pick.

    I haven't tried that.....I might break them.....hahaha

Duocast is doing Weird Sounds - Video

This. Did you socket the GE transistor? It sounds like a loose transistor to me. Or if you soldered it in, try re-flowing the pads. OR, it could be a bad transistor. Either way it sounds like a transistor issue to me.
