aye, only 'cheap' part is the trimmers, rest is either up there, like 3005's or multiple parts(think the 1uf caps are in bulk rate buying territory)but compared to anyhting other than a nano DMM, still cheaper diy and self satisfaction you don't need to klee..

I had a minor oversight when ordering the Tant caps, I got 16v instead of 25v, any chance of blowout or was the 25v for cushion?

also, I'll try finding it but I read somewhere about a magnet flip to cause the phase thing, intentionally. might be an assembly plant goof. try the wire swap 1st, that doesn't work switch it back and pull 1 p-up apart, gently and turn the mag over.

most of the resistors are standard fare, most of us get them from mouser/digikey/tayda... SBP by the bag, it's the biiig caps like 630v 22nf that's fun to find IF you're not familiar with mouser's selection menus.

that's likely the issue looking at that corner the upper bank of holes are empty, I wish you luck getting the pot out, may haveto sacrifice the legs clipping them off then pulling the remaing metal out 1 at atime.

think mine was set at between 11 and 12 and othe a bump towards 1, I used an orange/highway lines yellow instead of lemonish yellow led.
