Did you use pot condoms on those speed pots too? Have you pulled it out and double checked those pots aren't shorting somewhere on the backside?

I made two, added a F XLR jack and they work like a charm IMO.

I'd double check those board joints on the toggle switch connection

He lost me when he put the pots in upside down then figured it was easier to dremel the PCB to fit the box rather than de-solder and put them in right side up.

Wrong IC chip, supposed to be 1044 I believe.
