    DEMO Octaking

Thanks. A phone recording will be fine. I'm tossing up between this and a Catalinbread Octapussy. Hearing it in action will be great.

    DEMO Octaking

Nice. I have seen this around and it looks interesting. Got a demo? Would love to hear what it sounds like before I decide to get one.

    Equanimity Harmonic Tremolo

Thanks for sharing! It sounds great in Cees' demo. I might order a PCB from your gerber and try it out muyself.

    Pendulum tremolo ldr alternatives

Thanks for these links. I have so much trouble searching Mouser. I added some of those to my order. Fingers crossed they are good, they have similar fall times to the 5516 but slower rise time. I'm sure they will be fine. Might socket them and see.

    Pendulum tremolo ldr alternatives

Hey everyone I’m about to build the peddling tremolo but tayda is out of the recommended ldrs. Can I use one of the ldrs tayda does have which is the 5528 at the moment? I know they will work but I’m looking for maximum swoosh. Alternatively I am about to do a mouser order. Will one available...

    Chalumeau TL071 instead of LM386

If reducing gain is the goal then you can sever the connection between pin 1 and 8. A swithc is a good way to do this to allow you to switch on and off. Alos can use a pot.

DOD FX22 (Vibro Thang) schematic - make true bypass?

Hey @Feral Feline I thought you might be interested in this. Finally assembled the vibrio thang after a year. I sat on this “thang” for so song because it was just so noisy out of the box that I was sure it would never go away. Anyway I was bored last weekend I decided to put it in an...

The Monk Vibe: A Modernized Univibe

Most of the noise was from a 1044. Swapped for an LT1054 and it sounds much better now.

    Electrovibe gain trimmer: 1K ok?

You are right. I should have checked the schematic first and not assumed before replying

    Electrovibe gain trimmer: 1K ok?

I’m sure it will be fine. If you think the range is too narrow with 1k you can connect a 510 ohm resistor between pin 1 and 3

The Monk Vibe: A Modernized Univibe

Yeah It's pretty noisy. I'm not sure yet if it is poor layout by me or if it will go aay once boxed. I have an enclosure on the way from Tayda so will find out soon enough. Sounds great otherwise!

    Electrovibe no sound

If the emitter of q6 had good sound (left with flat side facing you) then the problem should be after that. There are only 3 parts between q6 and the output. These are R16, c1 and volume pot. Try probing these to see where the sound cuts out

    Electrovibe no sound

If the bulb flashes but you get no sound then that is a clue where the problem is. Do you know how to make an audio probe? If so try to probe q5, q15 and q6. You should have sound on the collector of all of these (right side with flat face towards you).

SOLVED Sunflower Fuzz charge pump issue?

It depends on the circuit you are using but I use a 1054 and 1044 as essentially interchangeable parts. There are some differences between them and I am sure there are circuits where they are not interchangeable, but I'm sure both will work in the sunflower. The main difference is that the...
