@Big Monk, just to be clear, do you recommend implementing more-or-less all of the changes outlined in the MV schematic that can be made if one is using an EV PCB? I have a second EV board that I would like to build following your specs, even if not all the modifications can be made on the board.

Hey @Big Monk

I thanks for putting this up on the forum. It’s a great resource.

I’m considering making one of these and am looking at the schematics you have posted.

Some of the values in the phase section are different to the electro vibe. Is there a reason why you chose the values below over the stock values? Do you think it changes/improves the sound?

- R31, r46, 52 and r56 are all 220k instead of 100k.
- R25, r43, r49 and r55 are 100k instead of 47k.
- R23, r42, r48 and r54 are all 470k instead of 100k.

I did look through the other thread. Sorry if you answered this already.

Sure I can do that if people want to hear it. Ill work from home later in the week so will do a recording then.

Here is a video. As you can see I put way too many knobs on it. Knobs are from top left to right

Top row: volume, depth speed
Bottom row: vibrato/chorus switch, gain, lamp contrast a between light and dark and wet dry mix.

Still needs some work as the lfo locks up at high speeds.

I also doubled all vibe caps (470pf, 15nf, 220nf and 4n7) as this seems to exaggerate the throb.

I don’t think your dog approves lol. Sounds like a great vibe. Wonder how much of that noise will remain once you’ve boxed her up. Sounds like a d*mn good vibe though to me - the noise lol. Great job though.

Yeah It's pretty noisy. I'm not sure yet if it is poor layout by me or if it will go aay once boxed. I have an enclosure on the way from Tayda so will find out soon enough.

Sounds great otherwise!
