I/O and DC jack enclosure contact

Understood, thank you. So contact enclosure is required no matter what. This is just me trying to save a step, albeit a small one.

    Paragon issue

Thanks, I'll poke around eventually. Too many things on the bench at the moment, which isn't a bad problem to have! I just had that initial suspicion and wanted to know if I was on the right track

I/O and DC jack enclosure contact

So I had another question regarding this. I think I recently came across @Robert saying in another thread that if you're connecting the PCB to both the input and output jack that grounding to the enclosure otherwise doesn't matter, the job is done. Is this true or did I misread something?

    Paragon issue

If by stomp it harder you mean increase my pick attack, yes that's part of it.

    Paragon issue

I've been using a Paragon (KoT) that I built from a StewMac kit for almost a year now and recently it started having issues. It works perfectly - until I hit a big chord and then it does until I bypass it and turn it back on. If I pick lightly everything is golden, it's only when I hit the...

    Potential Grounding Issues

What kind of guitar are you playing with? And are those 2 pedals fairly gainy? I recently built a Thermionic (Friedman BE-OD) and it's the highest gain pedal I've ever built. It was super noisy with my Ibanez RG, but went away when I touched a pedal foot switch, strings, 1/4" plug, etc. I...

    Face Melter IC

Has it ever been discovered if a TL072 works well for this build?

    FX loop volume box question

Thanks for those explanations. It's nice to know the real world behavior over just the math and this helped a ton!

    FX loop volume box question

How would a C behave differently from an A in this application? *I think I'm really showing how little I know here*

    FX loop volume box question

Thank you! I saw Brian Wampler's video and he suggested 100k as well. I think that's the route I'll go

    FX loop volume box question

So I bought a Fender Blues Deluxe recently to have a simple clean pedal platform compared to my usual Marshall stuff. I'm sure many of you know about the volume on these being very touch to the point of its either off or super loud right away. The fix for years on these and the HRD's has been...

    Lovepedal Purple Plexi?

Am missing something or does PPCB not offer a Purple Plexi board? Seems like all the best Lovepedal stuff is there just can't find this one and wondering if it's maybe under a snarky name I don't recognize. Thanks guys!

    Little Green Scream Machine

Thank you, that helps a lot. I know this is as simple as mods for a TS get, but I can't wait to try it. I've built 2 standard LGSMs so far (the first was a StewMac kit) so I'll have a good reference point.

    Little Green Scream Machine

I realize this thread is a few years old, but I'm interested in LED experimentation with the LGSM. What does a higher Vf translate to in this pedal in terms of sound or feel? Thanks!

will Tayda UV print on their pre-drilled enclosures?

    Good to know thanks, guys!

will Tayda UV print on their pre-drilled enclosures?

As the title states. Will Tayda UV print over their pre-drilled, pre-powder coated enclsoures or do you have to order a plain, undrlled enclosure and then also order drilling and powdercoating? Just wondering before I invest a lot of time into learning the process with Illustrator. Thanks guys!

    Solder Fume Extractor?

Hey I live in NY and prefer to measure everything in metric! Then again, I was born in Germany...but only lived there till I was 10. I like that I get to use bigger numbers with metric if ya catch my drift 😝
