@jeffwhitfield what did you do for the Pro-10 Dual overdrive. I messaged you on reverb. I watched your video tutorial and am thinking of getting illustrator to make my own designs, but it will probably take a few months of trial and error to figure it out.

The TL0701s and TLO702s I got from Tayda were good and didn't have any noise. I forget the supplier I got the other ones from, but those ones were bad. I went through all of the ones from the other supplier and they all had that noise problem. @spi

With the noise gone, I will say they sound the same.

Just an update. I swapped the op amps from the Pro-10 Blue into the Dual one and the issue went away. I think I got a bad batch of opamps.

@Dan0h I built a second one last night and Tayda has these rubber Pot dust covers and I was able to use those for the two pots under the 1/4 inch jacks.

It sounds very similar. With part tolerances and knob placement, you can get them to sound spot on. I am noticing a little noise when I play the blue side that doesn't exist on the original. I also have the Pro-10 blue pedal and didn't experience the noise on that one. I built two PRO-10s dual...

Here is the build of my Pro-10. It is a very tight fit. I found that you can not use dust caps on the pots underneath the input and output jacks. Also, neutrik jacks did not work. The only style of jacks that fit were the ones I have in the build.

Hey I was wondering why the transistors changed from the standalone Pro-10 pedals to the dual overdrive version.

So if I wanted to ground the enclosure, just remove the paint from the inside of the jack holes.

I was wondering what the benefit is to grounding the enclosure? If there is a benefit, how would you do this with a pedal PCB circuit board?

@gheorge77 @benny_profane What are the GE diodes on the parts list? I have everything ordered except for those diodes. If they are unobtainable, what are some good alternatives?

@twbaucom I have the Protein and I can tell you that on the original pedal, I have to turn the tone control almost all of the way up. When using the protein, I typically don't use the green side unless I am boosting it into the blue side. Currently, the tone is at 4 o'clock. Also, the original...
