At 12v you should get more clear and less gainy sound, more "headroom". But with just 3v maybe you can't hear difference. I seen before the Modern Rock Machine schematic, it looks very interesting. I never tried it, and I never found any demo, but I'm curious to hear it. Could you let us listen...

If you need just a little mod you could increase C6, 1uF for example, to get more low end. If you want still a little more even C4. You could try a 220nF for C3, too, as phi1 said, but this will move the boost peak on lower frequency, could be ok for you, but I guess it change a bit the effect...

Ok, the switch (and maybe the also the pot, I guess?) changes the impedance. I still have to try it with a Fuzz Face, maybe I can hear some difference in the sound. I assume that changes something in the sound, too. Else, what does it mean? I hope to clear it out this week. :)

I did it, too, a few months ago. :) It wasn't easy at all, because a three pots line close the upper side. But I did it.

I received the third 4305 module, and this time seemed work. I'm not sure if the pedal worked so fine like the first Muzzle with 4301 chip. I tested it with different gear, but I wasn't so impressed like with the first pedal.
