They connect to the same point so should be fine.

Cannon Fodder MKII blast switch doesn't do much until engaged awhile

mine performs the same way and if you watch demos it is a similar behavior, but seems to be knob position dependent

Clench n' Push aka Moonn Juichen aka Bronx Cheer

I built the GGG Bronx Cheer not long ago and was wondering where the transformer had gone in this one. It is a fun little noise box though. You might need to build the real deal and give us a comparison 😉

Can anyone recommend a tube screamer

F*ing cool pedal indeed even if it is fulltone. +1 on the Frost Drive it can be option paralysis, but anyone who I have built one for loves it. I typically build to sherbert (highest gain) specs

(DEFX) KRUGER (Adventure Audio Dream Reaper)

I was just thinking that a BB2 sized box is not as absurd as some of their enclosure requirements.

(DEFX) KRUGER (Adventure Audio Dream Reaper)

Nice build! I appreciate the color coded switch wiring. Now I want to build one, but why DEFX, why the giant board and enclosure for such a small circuit!?

EffectsBakery Butter Roll Vibe whine (Solved)

Aion also makes a tri-vibe board. P_brommer, that said, you might check out the build docs at Aion just to see how they handle power filtering etc. I don’t remember any whine with my build, but there can def be some lfo bleed through that I think I sort of solved by using a tl022.

Need a little help with an MXR M106 Noise Gate

Sounds like a good use case for an audio probe. That can help you find where in the circuit the noise is originating from, then you can focus on that component and any components attached to it

Sundial - can it take 18V?

Are we talking ab one of the Fuzz face/sunface clones? Sundial would certainly suggest so. Can a fuzz face take 18v even with appropriate electros and what would you be hoping to gain from running at 18v?

Aion Fx L5 pre w/ XLR out?

I have seen it mentioned around esp recently. I did decide to do up a unicab with the tataylino https://tataylino.com/simple-di-box/#google_vignette simple DI circuit. Still working on the project since I got pulled into a guitar project for a bit

    Unicab

I used a 1/4 TRS to XLR with my sludgehammer build with good results. I suppose it might look goofy, but it gets the job done. Stupid question, but is a ground lift switch as simple as disconnecting pin 1/ground of the xlr?

    Unicab

I am currently work on a similar build using @p_wats build report as a guide. One thing I do regret is that, on mine at least, I was not able to fit an XLR in using the drill template as is, you might need to shift the coordinates up a bit. I am going to use a TRS jack as you were thinking with...

    Frequency Interchange w/ piezo pickup

This would be strictly front of the chain since it will be in the bass itself. The pre amp now is just a volume and subs knob. Don’t even use the headphone amp.

    Frequency Interchange w/ piezo pickup

I see on the Broughton website that the LP/HP has a 1M input impedance and suggests that it is high enough to accommodate acoustic pickups, but would it be beneficial to buffer the piezos in my stick bass (there are 2) before running them to the frequency interchange? I am planning to replace...

    Procrastinator Issues

You’ve verified parts which is always the first step, now time to move on to reflowing your solder joints, then audio probe to isolate where the distortion might be coming from. Just for the fun of it, verify the pinouts on your transistors FYI, it is a pretty underwhelming effect in stock form

    Drill template units.

    And now we know. Thanks
